This softness & unapologetic vulnerability is a tactic against a society which prioritizes hardness and a lack of emotions. Strength doesn’t have to mean turning off emotions. It can be sharing yourself openly. It can be choosing to share those difficult emotions in-order to make others feel less alone and to create a space of healing. It can be refusing to be sorry for how you feel.
You can love a monster, it can even love you back, but that doesn’t change its nature.
