Because being skinny and white doesn’t mean someone is free of insecurity.
Because people can still bully skinny girls for their bodies.
Because people can still bully white girls for their general appearance/skin color.
Because of girls with overactive thyroids.
Because of skinny girls with eating disorders.
Because of skinny girls who are struggling to gain weight.
Because of skinny white girls who feel that they just don’t look right.
Because of skinny white girls who have body dysmorphia.Because your weight and/or skin color doesn’t mean you’re happy and doesn’t mean you don’t deserve any positivity.

And J.K. Rowling has enough power over this franchise to have vetoed this casting and publically speak out against it, and she said nothing. She did nothing.
